How it works?

A simple, three‑step journey that turns theory into outcomes.

Month 01 — Foundational brand strategy theory & core brand understanding

The first month of the internship introduces students to the fundamental building blocks of brand creation. Over eight structured learning sessions, students begin studying the first 18 chapters of the ONEDESIGN Brand Book, focusing on the essentials: understanding offerings, identifying consumers, defining competitive landscapes, recognizing novelty factors, and learning the strategic processes behind brand development. These chapters cover the earliest decision-making points that shape a brand’s purpose, narrative, and identity. Each learning cycle includes a follow-up quiz to reinforce understanding, allowing students to internalize concepts instead of memorizing them. Additionally, four live doubt-clearing sessions and Q&As ensure students receive real-time guidance on strategy, theory, and practical application. By the end of Month 01, students build a clear mental model of how brands originate, why they exist, and how foundational decisions influence business direction, customer perception, and long-term success.

Month 02 — Advanced brand strategy, identity & market preparation

The second month deepens the learner’s strategic capabilities by covering the remaining 18 chapters of the book. Across eight advanced learning sessions, students explore behavioural psychology, sentiment mapping, value proposition building, brand differentiation, customer limitations, and structured communication design. This month shifts their thinking from foundational understanding to applied strategy—helping them view brands not just as visual entities, but as systems of behaviour, messaging, and experience. Lessons move into identity creation, experience-building, and market strategy, providing clarity on how brands interact with audiences in real environments. Each session continues to be paired with quizzes, and four dedicated Q&A and doubt-clearing sessions help students refine their thinking, challenge assumptions, and connect theoretical frameworks to real-world brand examples. By the end of Month 02, students possess the intellectual toolkit required to build a complete brand strategy and identity system, making them fully prepared for the hands-on creation phase.

Month 03 — Brand building, group sprint, marketplace launch & sales training

The third month transforms theory into reality. Students are divided into groups and begin building a complete brand from scratch using everything they learned in the first two months. The month starts with group formation, role allocation, and a sprint roadmap that outlines how strategy, identity, storytelling, and design must come together. Students spend this month creating a comprehensive brand strategy deck, naming and positioning their brand, designing visual identity systems, crafting communication frameworks, developing packaging or mockups (as needed), and assembling a brand kit ready for acquisition. Throughout the process, multiple Q&A sessions help students refine brand decisions, receive mentor feedback, and strengthen their pitch. As the brand matures, students prepare marketplace-ready files and upload their brand to the ONEDESIGN Brand Marketplace, where they can earn by selling their intellectual property. The month concludes with a brand pitch presentation, marketplace listing, and a hands-on sales and marketing coaching session that teaches students how to promote, negotiate, and monetize their created brand. Month 03 is the culmination of the internship—transforming learning into a tangible, sellable brand asset while giving students real-world confidence and entrepreneurial exposure.
